Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from Africa Unlocked Tours and Travel. After a brief introduction and safari overview, you will be introduced to your experienced driver-guide, who will safely drive you to Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way, you’ll pause at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to capture stunning photographs of this iconic geological feature. As you continue your journey, keep an eye out for the dormant Mt. Longonot and the shimmering waters of Lake Naivasha to the west.

You will arrive in Nakuru around midday, check-in, have lunch, and afterward leave for an afternoon game drive till 6 pm. You'll go back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. An afternoon game drive allows you to experience the park’s wildlife during the cooler hours of the day. Keep your camera ready for sightings of rhinos, lions, and possibly leopards.

Day 2: Nakuru- Hellsgate – Nairobi

Check-out from your hotel after breakfast and drive to Naivasha where you will enjoy a visit to Hellsgate National Park where you can walk, cycle (Ebikes available at an additional cost), or just enjoy a game drive. Other available activities in the park include rock climbing or swimming at the Olkaria Geothermal Spa Swimming Pool.

Later, exit the park and head to a restaurant for lunch before enjoying an optional boat ride at Lake Naivasha on your way back to Nairobi.
